Rush Week

Ok Rush is officially beginning this week. I am so excited to meet all the different sorority's FIU has to offer. This will be a fun week I just know it. I am looking forward to it as I am sure I will meet lots of people and make tons of new friends. I already have all my outfits picked out for the week..lol Cant wait to meet my Rho Gamma she sounds very sweet over the phone. I have been looking over all the sorority websites and reading up on them and what they stand for so I have a good idea before I meet with each one. Tonight is gonna start a week of sleepless nights..lol

FIU Game Night!

WOW I cant believe its already here all the practices have finally led up to the 1st FIU football game against Rutger University. It was a BIG day for me getting ready for the game was so exciting. I LOVED cheering at my 1st college football game is was awesome. My mom came with a friend to support me on the sidelines..it was great. Did I mention I was on national TV!!! I love cheering

Wedding Cake

Today I helped my mom with a wedding cake for a friend. It was a lot of work and took us forever to finish. I don't think we will be doing another BIG cake anytime soon. All & all it came out very nice & it taste great. Here is a pic of how it turned out.

Labor Day

I was so excited that there was no school today Alex & I just lounged around the house with my mom until it was time for us to head back to Miami. My sister Anissa was visiting my other sister Bunky out in Colorado and kept sending us pics of all the animals she was getting to visit with & everything she was doing. There was a cat at the clinic that wouldn't leave her alone it wanted to be on her lap all the time and anytime she would move to get comfortable or to get it off of her it would bite her..she said it was evil..LOL Wish I was there with them.

What a Day

So today was the last day of the tournament and my brothers team made it through eliminations and the playoffs. They were in the championship game against the Miami Prospects. It was a very close game as we would score then they would score it was this way through out the whole game until we got to the last inning. The Miami team played a trick move on us to tie the game. This did not sit well with many of the parents as we had been listening to all their ranting & raving through the whole game. One of the Miami parents started with our coach and it was on. Our parents got in their faces & they got in ours it was ugly. It got so bad the director had to call the cops & separate the parents. It was a chicken move on thier part because they had never seen themselves in this situation needless to say it cost us the game so we were runner ups..but we could of been champs if they wouldn't of cheated.

Stormy Day

Ok today we had to be at the field early & the day started off great with 2 more wins under our belt. As we were getting ready to start the 3rd game of the day a really bad storm came through flooding the fields, the dugouts & leaving us with barely any shelter to sit under not to mention the lightning striking all around us. The game got called to be played the next day but we were still stuck in the torrential downpour but we made the most if it. Only in South Florida..LOL

Labor Day Tourney

Today was the start of my little brothers baseball tournament. The game started off the a BANG the Sandlot beat the Piranaz 6-2 it was great! The game was going on til late so we had Pasqualis ordered to the field..Thanks Tim for always looking out for us & making sure they delivered it to us. It was so much fun.
